Congratulations to Rakesh Chenchery, the instructor of Kensho Dojo, who was successfully promoted to his 3rd Dan on Saturday 29th of April by Sensei Masao Kawasoe, chief instructor of U.K.T.K.F.
After his Black belt in 1992, and the 2nd Dan in 2001, this was a great moment for Rakesh and the Kensho Dojo. The grading exams were conducted during a 3 day international course organised by U.K.T.K.F where world famous instructors like Sensei Kawasoe, Sensei Naito (from Italy) and Sensei Watanabe (from Brazil) shared their decades of experience through rigorous and informative sessions. The grading examination took place on Saturday afternoon after the training course.
Rakesh Chenchery and Paddy Morrison, both students of Sensei Kawasoe, were the only candidates appearing for the 3rd Dan examination. Both of them were delighted when they successfully passed the grading and got their 3rd Dan certificate
